About SotaVision
SotaVision is a joint R&D team between SotaTek JSC and the Intelligent Vision Lab – Vietnam National University, bringing together researchers, AI engineers, software engineers, and system integrators to develop industrial-grade computer vision solutions.
We combine Computer Vision, AI & Machine Learning, software engineering, and real-time hardware systems to address real-world challenges in visual inspection and industrial automation.
From research and model development to deployment and system integration, our team focuses on turning advanced vision technology into practical solutions that can operate reliably in real production environments.
Meet The Team Behind SotaVision
Scientific Advisor
Guides SotaVision's research direction across robotics, computer vision, and applied machine learning.
Prof. Hoang Van Xiem provides scientific direction and research mentorship for SotaVision.
He is a Professor at VNU-UET, Head of the Department of Robotics Engineering, and Executive Advisor at SotaTek.
With more than 100 published papers, his research focuses on areas including intelligent machine vision, applied machine learning, and vision acquisition optimization.
His academic work has received multiple recognitions, including:

• Golden Globe Award in Science Research 2019
